If you want to get more active or simply enjoy the outdoors you must try Nordic Walking.
We teach Nordic Walking in Edinburgh and The Scottish Borders., It is an exercise which enhances normal walking by adding poles.The poles help propel the walker along which means the upper body is being used and you are working harder yet the support and use of the poles makes it feels easier.
The Poles are not the same as hiking poles and the easy to learn technique is suitable for all levels of fitness.
A typical hour of walking will help tone legs, buttocks ,chest, shoulders and arms but best of all it is a very social exercise completed in fresh air and not a gym.
